Zorzettig

The Zorzettig family has been cultivating land in the hills of Friuli since 1874.  For the first fifty years they were multi-sector farmers, raising cows, making cheese, growing fruit trees, with some vines interspersed across their land.  In 1920 they decided to dedicate themselves to grapes.

For the past one hundred years they have constantly evolved to push themselves, and their region, forward at local and international levels.  While rooted in tradition, with vineyards of Friulano, Ribolla Gialla and Refosco, autochthonous grapes that define the Friulian wine making tradition, they have international varietals as well with plantings that date back to the 1960s.

They are currently under the leadership of Analisa Zorzettig and her daughter, Veronica, is already being groomed to become the seventh generation to oversee the family business.
